Some people call this a faux bow, but I prefer to call it a Tidy Knot, because it is. The knots lay flatter against the card, and it is much easier to control the knot's placement.
To make it, put about 1/2" of adhesive on the back of the card where you wish to place your ribbon. Cut your ribbon about 1" longer than the width of your card, and simply place it across the card and fold it over to the back, attaching it to the adhesive., repeat on the other side. Cut 4-6" of ribbon (here we layered 2 ribbons) and knot onto the ribbon already attached to the card. Slide it to it's best spot. When you attach this layer to your card, put adhesive right over the folded-over portion of the ribbon.
This is one of my favorite cards from Volume 8 of Stamps-by-Mail. I do have 3 kits left, let me k now if you are interested - it is a beautiful kit that includes Parisian Breeze dsp and fabulous ribbon!

I loved the type ad commenting system very clean and very efficient.
