    This folder is filled with pictures from The Gathering Place at the 2009 Stampin' Up! convention. These samples are from the contests that SU! run throughout the year. Some of new product samples are directly from Stampin' Up!. The cover photo is me on stage, this year I made the $100,000 in career sales milestone. Thank you to all my customers, I couldn't have done it without you!

Stamps-by-Mail:Window Word Pop-up

Sbm46 Pop-up cards were one of my favorite things to do, when I first started stamping (8 years ago). And now, since Stampin' Up! has released such wonderful punches - it is so much easier and fun!

The Word Window Punch, used on the fold of any card, once from each side, makes a nice clean slit. Line up the nub on the front of the punch, with the center of the fold, and punch once from each edge. The push the fold in between the 2 punches in the opposite direction of the fold.Sbm46c_2

Then attach the image you wish to "pop-up" only to the lower part of this center. Just a little hint: Always...stick your pop-up cards together when they are flat. This waySbm46b, they will be in the perfect spot, and you will be able to get the card in the envelope.

My Latest Creation

Web_hobbie_hutch_2A couple of months ago, a customer asked me if I would organize her stamp room, I kinda laughed. And she said "really", so I said I would try it. In looking for organizational tools, I couldn't find any furniture for a reasonable price, so my sister and I set about to build a "solution".

I designed the cubbies to hold 12x12 paper trays, a special spot for your cutter and other tools, and pegboard for punches and ribbon - even a special divided acrylic tray for small punches or markers.

The hutch is 57" long, so it's fits on most desks or folding banquet table (this table is 6', so there's room for the ink carousel. And Nicole has lots of stamps, so those are in shelves on the side. The hutch also sits 2 1/2" off the table top so you can side partially completed projects, or your stamp n' scrub, underneath.

We are making some to sell at Maxwell Street Days, and taking special orders, the hutch it's self is $95. And you can special order the acrylic trays separately.
