June is only 6 months away, and time to start planning invitations for those summer & fall weddings. The card to the right is one that I am working on for my brother-in-law's wedding. This is just the first draft. Problems to overcome...it is already at the maximum thickness to be mailed at the normal 41 cents, I want to include the new striped grosgrain ribbon, and I've got to come up with enough corsage pins and beads to create all the needed invitations. Stay tuned to see the next draft. Oh, yeah, I do need Jefferson and Amy's approval.

On Saturday, February 9th, for the very 1st time, I will be co-hosting a 12-hour crop, called Layouts2Love. I'm so excited that we will be featuring the new Bali Breeze Designer Paper, you will be making 6-2 page 12x12 layouts (and taking home whatever is left from your pack. So far this year, I've been to 4 "parties" celebrating the 2008 Spring-Summer collection. If you haven't seen the new catalog, it is simply fabulous! My favorite things are the new Style Watch section, and the wonderful (over 200) samples.
The Bali Breeze designer papers are gorgeous - I wouldn't have put Purely Pomegranate and Tempting Turquoise together on my own, much less throw in some Cameo Coral. I've been having fun with the Happy Heart Day set. Having a 3 year old in the house, inspired me to buy this cutesy set, but I've seen such a variety of cards from it, and with the new color combos...I've got to get back to my studio.

Happy New Year! There is so much news, I'm not sure where to start. Some of you (if you were a hostess in the last 18 months), should have received this card in the mail. It is an invitation to the Hostess Appreciation Party on January 18th, I hope to see you there.
Last night I hosted a Catalog Preview Meeting for my downline, we made 3 cards with sets and supplies from the new catalog. And I'm off for a weekend in Chicago, for the catalog preview meeting from my upline. These are just a couple of the benefits of being a Stampin' Up! demonstrator - every time a new catalog comes out, we do our best to learn and teach each other about all the new products.
