Technique of the Month
"Wonder"-ful Watercolor Crayons
- Direct to Stamp - The very simpliest way
to use the crayons is to color directly on a bold stamp,
mist it with water until it's dew-y, and stamp. Hold it
down for a few seconds to allow the paper to soak up
the color.
- True Watercoloring - To get a classic
water color look, you will need a StazOn Ink Pad,
Watercolor paper, wide brush or AquaPainter, and
your choice of watercolor crayons. First, brush water
over the entire piece of Watercolor Paper, then stamp
the image using either brown or black StazOn ink. Use
the stamp box as a "pallet" by coloring spots onto it,
pick up the color with the AquaPainter or a watercolor
brush and paint the image as you like.
- Endless Possibilities - Don't stop at just paper.
The crayons can be used on the flowers in the pretties
kit, chipboard, and almost anything else that will
accept paint.

We have changed our minds about building the studio

November, so I'm hoping to move in by the beginning
of January, and the Catalog Kick-off party for the New
Spring - Summer Collection!
