My Blog:
As many of you know, this is the first of twice yearly catalogs. It has about 25 fewer pages, but it is as fabulous as ever. Grab and ice cold beverage and browse to your heart's delight. Besure to check out the "Style Watch" section (pg 4-9); the samples are gorgeous and the collections are so well thought out, I'm finding it hard to decide what to show at workshops first.

Enjoy!

This year was a banner year for retiring stamp sets, wheels, and accessories. As a demonstrator, I can no longer demonstrate this merchandise. So some of the other demos in my downline and I are getting together to offer them to you at a great discount - about 40% off. We have more than 400 sets to sell, so come and check us out; we will be between the concession stand and the ball field.

If you are interested in selling some of your retired sets, please email me.

Buttons & Fibers & Bows, Oh My!

This came to my head as a class idea when I ogled all the ribbon in last year's catalog - now I'm doubly excited.

Just as I always stamp on my envelopes to make them special, I almost always add embellishments, in the form of ribbon, brads, buttons and more, to my cards and invitations. Here are some tips for working with these items:
  1. Use sticky strip to adhere ribbon to a card front, it even seals the edges so they don't unravel.
  2. Tie Linen Thread (or coordinating embroidery floss) through the button holes, then stick to the card with a mini glue dot - no needle required.
  3. Fancy Fibers can be dyed to match your card stock exactly. Put 2-3 drops of classic reinker and a teaspoon of water in a ziplock baggie. Mix together by mushing around, drop in about a yard of fiber, and mush some more. Pull it our, let it dry, and tie it on! (This also works with Canvas Tape and Grosgrain ribbon.)

Try these techniques and more at this month's classes July 19th and 28th, click on card sample for more details.
